Mac Desktop App Installation Instructions

We recommend that you watch the video below as you set up the app.

The desktop app lives on your computer, and you open it any time you want to navigate the Let's Start Coding lessons and projects. Make sure you're connected to the internet to use it!

Once the app is installed, you can use it to navigate the lessons and projects for your kit! Now is the time to plug in your Maker Board or Code Car to the USB cable and USB port like the images below.

Code Car will be a snug fit, but don't worry, you can just press the cable onto the car's USB plug.

You'll need to be connected to the internet to use the Let's Start Coding desktop app.

The app is similar a web browser that is limited to visiting www.letsstartcoding.com. If you have a URL address (like www.letsstartcoding.com/learn), you can type that in the app's search bar and you'll reach that page in the app. If you try to go to YouTube from the app, you'll be redirected to www.letsstartcoding.com.

We do not recommend purchasing kits through the app.
